Consultations Billed at an Hourly Rate

We bill at $400 per hour for the time a patient spends with the doctor plus any post appointment follow-up items from your visit (5-10 minutes on average).

We Do Not Take Insurance

We do not take insurance for any service provided through our office but we can provide you with detailed receipts to file for reimbursement. Like most alternative medicine providers, we are not in-network with any healthcare or insurance plans. You will receive a "Superbill" that you can use to file a claim with your insurance company for reimbursement. Consultations would be applied to your out-of-network deductible and many of our routine lab tests are reimbursable by most major plans.

Tier 1 Functional Medicine Blood Work Panel

Our Tier 1 panel of Functional Medicine diagnostic blood tests, completed at Quest Diagnostics, gives Dr. Winstrom deeper insight than the tests you may normally get at an annual visit with your primary care physician. These indicators are the initial clues Functional Medicine uses to look for the root cause of chronic conditions. We have negotiated rates over 82% off the prices the lab bills insurance companies. Using our discount program puts a cap on the amount you pay for lab work so you know your max out-of-pocket expense with no surprises.

New patients are required to have blood work done and will be discussed at your initial visit. All labs are purchased through our office at our discounted rate. You can submit the "Superbill" receipt you receive to your insurance company to get reimbursed for any services they cover.
