Cost & Insurance
Functional Medicine with a Licensed M.D. and Transparent Costs
Consultations are billed at an hourly rate
We bill $400/hr in 15 min increments for the time patients spend consulting with the doctor plus the time she needs for followup tasks (15 mins average). There may also be a $35 facility fee for in-office appointments.
We do not take insurance
We don't take insurance, but we can give you receipts to file for reimbursement . We are not in-network with any health insurance plans and payment is due at the time of service. You will receive a "Superbill" receipt to file a claim with your insurance company to request reimbursement for any services they cover. Consults will be applied to your out-of-network deductible and many of our blood work lab tests are reimbursable by most major insurance plans.

Tier 1 Functional Blood Tests

(Compare to Quest Diagnostics List Price: $2160)
Our Tier 1 panel of Functional Medicine diagnostic blood tests, completed at Quest Diagnostics, gives Dr. Winstrom deeper insight than the tests you may normally get at an annual visit with your primary care physician. These indicators are the initial clues Functional Medicine uses to look for the root cause of chronic conditions. Through our CAP Program we have negotiated rates up to 82% off the prices the lab charges insurance companies. Using our discount program "puts a cap" on the amount you pay for lab work.
All lab fees must be paid up front at our discounted rate. You can submit the "Superbill" receipt you receive to your insurance company to get reimbursed for any services they cover.
